The event is over! We want feedback!
OpenSQLÂ Camp is free.
To make this event free for attendees, we need sponsors. However, sponsorship is balanced with one of the key ideas of the conference: it is of, by, and for the community. To that end, we treat all sponsors equally:
- No "levels" of sponsorship -- everyone gets the same amount of credit
- The only requirement is a $150 minimum value contribution.
- You get your logo and link in the sidebar on the wiki. You get your logo on an easel at the entrance.
- Propose other ideas if you wish.
Technocation, Inc, a 501(c)3 not-for-profit organization, can serve as a proxy for funds. Donate via Paypal or send a check or money order to this address specifying the funds should be used for OpenSQLCamp
Right now we don't have a specific list of things that still need individual sponsors. We can use more cash to put in the slush fund, from which we will pay things like office supplies that need to be purchased right before the event, and to pool funds for meals (they are generally more than any single sponsor wants to pay.)
