Events/2009/Action Items

Some things that are still up in the air and need somebody to drive and support:

Spread the word! Send out invitations to the various OSS DB projects, bang the drum to solicit talk submissions. Use this sample invitation as a template. Put a note on the list of invited projects so we can keep track on which projects have been contacted already. Announce and share the Event on Social Networks!
T-Shirts: It would be nice to have an OpenSQLCamp 2009 T-Shirt to hand out for attendees. Needs sponsoring and somebody to drive forward.
Comment on and vote for the submissions: In the event that we will have more talk submissions than available slots, we need to perform a selection. This should be done in public, so the review process is transparent allows participation. - Done: Events/2009/Reviewing_and_Voting
Recording and live streaming video. It would be good to have a decent audio/video setup for the room, so the sessions could be recorded (or maybe even streamed in realtime via http://ustream.tv/ ?). Lenz has asked the FrOSCon organizers if can help with that, as they do video recording of the main track sessions already. However, it would be good if somebody would work on an alternative solution, in case we need to do it ourselves. - Sheeri offered to record all sessions (Thanks!).
